The Benefits of Mobile-Based Loyalty Programs

Under the leadership of CEO George S. Richards, Minneapolis-based direct marketing service provider Sempris, LLC delivers tailored marketing programs for retailers across the country. Sempris, LLC has developed several high-performing customer loyalty programs, including successful campaigns for Newport News and Victoria’s Secret.

One type of approach, mobile-based loyalty programs, are an effective way to reach the estimated 237 million Americans who have access to a smartphone. Application-based loyalty programs have the dual benefit of offering rewards and tracking customer behavior.

Since the majority of smartphone owners carry their phones with them at all times, responsive mobile-based reward systems are particularly attractive to customers. For example, some companies incorporate fast-pay and pre-ordering options to entice customers to open the app every time they enter a store.

Many apps also translate customer data and behavior into tailored rewards. For example, some loyalty programs offer special deals on repeat purchases or allow customers to apply a fixed discount to a wide range of items.

Sempris, LLC, Contributes to Rotary Club Fundraising Event

For nearly 35 years, Sempris, LLC, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has operated as a marketing services company involved in all aspects of consumer-centric savings programs, from developmental stages through program management. A proud Midwestern company, Sempris, LLC, is heavily involved with the local community.

In 2017, Sempris partnered with the Minnetonka Rotary Club to take part in the annual Links and Libations fundraising initiative at Glen Lake Golf Course. The event was a great success, generating more than $31,000 for a range of programs benefiting individuals throughout the Hopkins and Minnetonka communities, an increase on last year’s proceeds. Specific programs supported by the Rotary Club include, but are not limited to, the ICA Food Shelf social services agency, Camp Tanadoona Specialty Camps for youth, and Loaves and Fishes, a free meal program.

Individuals interested in supporting the Minnetonka Rotary Club before the next annual Links and Libations can attend club meetings at the Eisenhower Community Center, Wednesday mornings. A full schedule is available at www.minnetonkarotary.org.
